University President Attends Eid Al-Fitr Celebration for the Year 1444AH
In the presence of the university's vice presidents and employees, His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, attended the Eid celebration on Wednesday, April 26, which was hosted by the university in the Conferences and Celebrations Center and organized by the General Administration of Institutional Communication on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr of the year 1444 AH.
In the speech His Excellency delivered on the occasion, he congratulated His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect them.
Al-Solami, highlighted the Kingdom’s role in the unfortunate crisis that Sudan is currently experiencing and its great efforts in evacuating citizens from the Kingdom and friendly countries, as well as its active role in achieving reconciliation and maintaining peace.
Al-Solami also commended the excellent services that the Umrah performers this year received, despite the large crowds, thanks to the guidance and care given by the wise leadership, may God support them.
In the same context, the university branch in Tihama celebrated Eid Al-Fitr where the general supervisor of the branch, Dr. Ahmed Atef Al-Shehri attended the ceremony, while the Vice-President for Student Affairs, Prof. Kholoud Abu Melha, attended the celebration of the female section on this blessed occasion.
