King Khalid University provides open data to enable beneficiaries, researchers, government and private entities, and community members to access published data, benefit from it, and reuse it in accordance with the approved usage policy, in support of transparency, enhancement of scientific research, promotion of innovation, and improvement of decision-making.

How to Request Open Data
If the required data is not available, you can submit a request to obtain it through the designated form on the Saudi Open Data Portal by following these steps:
Fill out the Open Data Request Form through the Saudi Open Data Portal with the required information:
The request will be reviewed by the relevant departments, and the possibility of providing the requested data will be verified in accordance with approved regulations and policies.
The applicant will receive a response within the approved timeframe adopted by the university.
Response Time: Open data requests are reviewed and responded to within five working days from the date of receiving the request. Some requests may require additional time depending on the nature of the requested data and the extent of coordination needed with the data-owning entities within the university.
