A son of Aseer region, born in 1360 AH in Sarat Ubaidah. He received his education in Aseer and worked in agriculture and then trade. He made many contributions to the establishment of commerce and trade in the region, in addition to his immense role in reconciling tribal conflects in the southen region. He chairs the board of Asherni Company Limited and the councils of the Muhammad bin Ayed bin Abdul Wahhab bin Dajam.

He also chairs the Board of Trustees of the Farhan Ibn Al-Mubarak Foundation for Community Service, which was awarded the Distinguished Arab Donor Institutions Award from the United Nations Office. He chairs the Endowments Committee in the Eastern Chamber of Commerce, which he founded in February 2014, and to this day he remains its chairman. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Endowment Empowerment Society, and Chairman of the Ma’wi Society for Social Services, a non-profit organization specialized in real estate development and innovation of sustainable developmental housing for the community in the Kingdom.

Ibrahim Abdullah Aljafali (may God have mercy on him)

Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Juffali, was a businessman who descended from the Bani Khalid tribe in the city of Unayzah, he grew up in Shaab Amer in Mecca. He founded, with his brothers Ali and Ahmed, the “Ibrahim Al-Juffali and Brothers Company” in the year 1355. The company was granted the privilege of Illuminating the city of Taif during the reign of late King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud. Al-Juffali, then established a joint-stock company with his brothers, which they called “Saudi Electricity Company.” He was keen on social life and loved to give back to society among his most important charitable work is buying the land for the Islam Stadium in Mecca and endowing it. He passed in 1403Ah.

Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Yahya Al-Yahya (may God have mercy on him)

Mr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Yahya Al-Yahya (may God have mercy on him) belongs to the Subay tribe. The Al-Yahya family ruled the city of Unayzah with their cousins, the Al-Salim family, and after that the Yahya family moved and took refuge in the city of Hail. Abdullah Al-Yahya was six years old and an orphan, when he moved with his older brother and cousins to the city of Hail, he worked in trade and established his presence in the region until he became one of its most notable businessmen. He was afflicted with an incurable disease from which he suffered for several years until he passed away in the year 1367 AH, and was buried in the city of Hail, may God have mercy on him.

Zohair Alsebai

Born in Makkah and started his educational career in Makkah. He earned a BA in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ain Al-Shams in Cairo, followed by a Diploma in Tropical Medicine from Germany in 1967, an MA in international health from the United States, and a PHD in Health Planning from Johns Hopkins University in the United States. as well as a fellowship of the British College of Physicians in Britain. Dr. Zaheer worked as a faculty member in the College of Medicine at King Saud University, a Dean and a founder of the College of Medicine in Abha, and held many administrative positions, most notably being a member of the Council of Shura, and Director of the Planning and Programs Department at the Ministry of Health. As well as being President of the Arab Council for Family and Child Medicine and the Saudi Society of Family and Child Medicine. Dr. Al-Subaie participated in many seminars, over a 100 conferences, more than 50 papers and published 22 books. he also presented the health and life program for 15 years on Saudi television.

Ali bin Husain bin Ali bin Hamran

Businessman, born in Rufaidat Qahtan, and worked in the educational sector. He founded Bin Hamran Establishment for Gold and Jewelry Trading, a private factory for manufacturing gold bullion in Jeddah, and Chairman of the Board of Ali bin Hussein bin Hamran Charitable Endowment in Jeddah. He was one of the leading businessmen who served the Asir region. He received his education in Lebanon, then completed his studies in England. He was a regional director of the National Bank since 1969. He contributed to the spread of the bank’s branches until it reached more than 40 branches serving the region. He was a supporter of tourism. He established the first hotel in Abha (Asir Hotel), and he is one of the founders of the Abha Chamber of Commerce, one of the founders of Al-Janoub Automatic Bakeries and Al-Janoob Cement, and he is the founder of Jotun and the Red Sea Paints Company.
