Rector Signs Agreements With NCAAA and 4 Regional Universities

The International Exhibition & Conference on Higher Education was recently held on Riyadh on the 10th of April. Undersecretary of Education for Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmed Al-Muharj, hosted the event, in which many domestic and international universities participated. The representatives included several university rectors, deans, and cultural attachés. King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, represented King Khalid University at the conference.
King Khalid University had its own pavilion set up at the conference. University volunteers staffed the pavilion, and provided information about school programs and initiatives to a great number of visitors. The staff had both print and digital media available to the public. The volunteers were available throughout the day to answer questions from guests.
During the conference His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy executed agreements with the National Center for Academic Assessment and Accreditation in the Evaluation of Education and Training for consideration of 3 additional undergraduate programs (Arabic Language and Literature, Clinical Laboratory, and Pharmacology), 1 graduate program (Curriculum and Teaching Methods), and 1 doctorate program (Management an Educational Supervision). He also signed educational and community service cooperation agreements with 4 other domestic universities (Bisha University, Jazan University, Taibah University, and Taif University).
The Rector reported that the conference was a success, particularly for King Khalid University. 'The university is on track with respect to its short-term and medium-term development objectives. We are continually improving and expanding our academic programs and our civic outreach efforts. We aim to be recognized as a top 200 university worldwide within 10 years, and make significant contributions towards the fulfillment of national goals as set forth in Vision 2030' he said.
