Announcement for receiving inside and outside scholarships requests for (non Saudi) applicants at King Khalid University, Abha

The Deanship of Registration and Admission is announcing the beginning of receiving (inside-outside) scholarships requests for (non Saudi) applicants through The Deanship electronic portal. It starts on Saturday 12/08/1436 AH and continues to 30/08/1436 AH according to the following conditions:

First, Inside Scholarships:

1-The applicant must speak Arabic.

2-The Differentiation between Inside Scholarship students is limited for those who have gotten rate of 90% and more, from Saudi secondary School . They also should have taken 75 and more in General Aptitude Test (GAT) and in Educational Achievement Test (EAT).

3-The Admission of Inside Scholarship will depend on the availability in the colleges and the differentiation between applicants will be according to the followed admission criteria.

4-The applicant must not have received scholarship from other educational institutions in the Kingdom.

5-The age of the applicants should not exceed 25 years for bachelor and diploma degree, 30 for master degree, and 35 for doctorate degree.

6- Inside Scholarship applicant can't change his/her specialization after his/her admission in that specific specialization.

7- Female applicant must be accompanied by a male guardian (Mahram) who should have a valid residence permit (Iqama).

8- The applicant must be medically fit.

9-This admission includes only a study seat.

Second, Outside Scholarships:

1-The age for applicant should not be less than 17 years or more than 25 years. 

2-The applicant's government should agree on the study inside KSA to countries that require it to Saudi students.KSA to countries that require it to Saudi students.

3-The applicant must have not received scholarship from other educational institutions in the Kingdom.

4-The certificates and documents must be verified by competent agencies which set by the educational institution.

5-The applicant must bring a certificate of police clearance from security agencies in his/her country.

6-The applicant should not be dismissed from any Saudi educational institutions.

7-Female applicants must be accompanied by a male guardian (Mahram) who should be either on scholarship or a resident of Kingdom holding a valid residence permit (Iqama) or offer his documents to a record of an employer need his\her services.

8-The student must be medically fit.

9-The educational institutions have the right to require a recommendation from any bodies, institutions or people.

Admission Mechanism:

For Inside scholarship, the applicant must make a e-request in which he\she upload a copy of secondary school certificate, a copy of residence permit (Iqama) and then save the request number.

For outside scholarship, the applicant must make a e-request in which he\she upload a copy of secondary school certificate, a copy of passport and then save the request number.

They can both review the request number and admission through the deanship e-portal.

Note that the admission will be automatic and there will be no need to deliver any papers or documents to the deanship.
