More than 50 faculty members of King Khalid University (KKU) have ended the e-training program (Momares). The program was designed for members from various colleges and academic communities, and from different provinces (Mahayel Asir - Tanumah - Dhahran Al-Janoub - Sarat Obeida). The training program, which is provided for the second time was a quantum leap in the training system, hence it was presented online via a learning management system (Blackboard), and it was under the supervision of a specialized trainer. This important program allowed the faculty member to start training sessions at anytime and from anywhere and during specified periods for each session.

The program consisted of four consecutive sessions for two months which enabled a faculty member to use e-learning tools and effective systems, namely: building courses, student's evaluation, enhance communication and interaction, and virtual classrooms.

Dr. Fahad Al Ahmari, the Dean of e-learning Deanship at King Khalid University, and the trainer of the program, Mr. Mohamed Jarallah Al-Habbabi, have both explained that the training program had adopted the concept of "training and self-learning" through which the role of faculty members would be more effective and better than just being the recipient of the information. At the end of the program, the Deanship of e-learning held an honoring ceremony for the graduates of the second class of Momares program for e-Learning as they have contributed to the success of the program
