His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, extended his congratulations to the wise leadership on the occasion of the Founding Day 2026. He emphasized that on this cherished anniversary, feelings of pride and honor manifest for a magnificent heritage spanning three centuries, during which the people of this nation wrote chapters filled with sacrifice, struggle, and courage to build a civilization that has become one of the most significant over time.
Al-Solami stated: "On this generous occasion, it gives me pleasure to extend, on my behalf and on behalf of the employees and students of King Khalid University, congratulations to the leader of our march, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, asking God for guidance and success for our leadership and continued progress and prosperity for our country."
Al-Solami stressed that Saudi Vision 2030, whose chapters we are living and whose impact and fruits we see during this period, is nothing but one of the major historical transformations experienced by this country through the will of its leadership and the determination of its sons and daughters. He noted that: "Since the First Saudi State was founded in 1139 AH / 1727 AD by Imam Muhammad bin Saud, may God have mercy on him, passing through the Second Saudi State, then the unification of this lofty entity at the hands of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, may God rest his soul, reaching what we live today, the Kingdom continues its march with firm steps toward a more advanced and prosperous future."
Al-Solami added: "The anniversary of Founding Day comes as an opportunity to renew the covenant and loyalty to our wise leadership, and to affirm the determination to exert maximum effort and provide everything in our power to serve our homeland, contribute to building our civilization, and enhance the values of belonging, work, and giving in the hearts of our sons and daughters, who are the pillars of the future and the hope for progress."
Al-Solami concluded his speech by saying: "We at King Khalid University take pride in performing our national duty and in our work and contribution, determined to harness what our state has provided for the sake of good and progress, inspired by the great success stories lived by our country," praying to God Almighty to protect our leadership and sustain the glory of our nation.
