King Khalid University, represented by the General Administration of Volunteering and Community Partnership under the University Agency for Business and Community Partnership, has launched the seventh edition of the "Mobaderoon" (Initiators) community project. This comes as an extension of the university's efforts to enhance community participation and consolidate the culture of volunteer work.
For his part, the General Supervisor of the General Administration of Volunteering and Community Partnership, Dr. Mosfer bin Mohammed Al-Asmari, explained that the seventh edition of the "Mobaderoon" project is being implemented as a developmental project focused on investing capabilities and resources. It aims to achieve a sustainable impact that contributes to skill development and the promotion of values, emphasizing that the project seeks to enhance social responsibility and instill the spirit of volunteer work to support individual contributions to community service and development.
He pointed out the three tracks the project focuses on in its current edition: the first is the "Enlightenment" track, which is concerned with spreading awareness and building intellectual and behavioral perception among community members; the "Empowerment" track, which aims to empower individuals and volunteers with leadership and professional skills; and the "Mastery" track, which aims to qualify and refine the participants' skills practically through field application and practice.
It is noted that the "Mobaderoon" project achieved positive results in terms of participation and community impact during its previous editions.
