9 entities hold a workshop for 107 graduates of the Pharmacy School of the University.

The King Khalid University (KKU) Vice - President for Health Specialties, Prof. Dr. Khalid Al Jelban, has sponsored a workshop for the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy who have graduated from the Bachelor of Pharmacy Sciences program, and from the Pharmacy doctorate program. The workshop took place in the Central stands of the University at its main entrance and was in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Sayari, the Vice Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Taha Al-Qahtani, and the Head of the training unit in the Faculty, Dr. Khalid Ereij.

The Faculty of Pharmacy held the workshop to guide 107 alumnae and alumni (pharmacists of the future) and to introduce them to the utmost importance of the training period, in addition to guiding them to optimal exploitation of the period. Moreover, the workshop aimed to enable the graduates to recognize the rules and regulations of training and to provide them with an explanation of some of the clinical skills needed by the trainee during the period of training.

The Faculty of Pharmacy hosted 9 specialized entities including governmental and private entities. The purpose of the participation of these entities in the workshop was to explain their training mechanism and what is expected of the trainees during the training period, in addition to explaining work environment, and to provide job opportunities as well.

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Sayari, said that the establishment of such workshops was very important, especially as it attracts several entities to explain the mechanism of training for interns. He added, "To attract training stakeholders for our students is a good thing, and it makes it easy to train them in the future. In fact, these actors commendably offer a short introduction of their training mechanism so that the graduates could exercise knowingly and could learn enough before proceeding with their career." Dr. Al Sayari further congratulated the alumni and the actors participating in the workshop for their benefit to the college and its graduates.

At the end of the workshop, the Vice President for Health Specialties, Prof. Dr. Khalid Al Jelban, honored parties participating in the workshop and gave them memorial shields. Prof. Al Jelban also congratulated the graduates and urged them to expand their knowledge through training, noting that the university has provided them with all the necessary incentives to get the ultimate benefit from the training period, which will provide them with benefit to themselves in particular, and to their dear country in general.
