University launches its participation in the "Loyalty mark" campaign.

King Khalid University Vice - president for Health Specialties, Dr. Khalid Al jelban, yesterday Patronized "Loyalty mark" campaign, which was organized by the Club of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences of the university. The campaign came within the University's participation in the campaign launched by the General Secretariat for the development of the youth sector in the Emirate of Makkah (Tharwa), with the slogan "No for infidelity, degeneracy  ... Yes for thinking and moderation". The campaign was witnessed by the Dean of student Affairs and deputy dean of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha.

The activities of the university's participation in the campaign started with the national anthem, then the Vice - President for Health Specialties, Dr. Khalid Al jelban gave a speech in which he stressed the love of the homeland and its importance in our lives, saying, "I do not know should I congratulate the homeland on having people like you, or congratulate you on having such a homeland?" He continued, "Praise be to God, who gave us this country Under its loyal leadership; imprint is loyalty to the homeland " The Vice - President further stressed the need for the student community to such awareness campaigns was being backed up with planting the principle of tolerance and loyalty. It contains fundamental values to unite the society consciously, as an expression of its rejection of all methods of violence, extremism and intolerance, and of its supporting moderation and tolerance instead.

For his part, the Leader of activities at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Orwa Albetania, explained that their participation in the campaign was the physical proof that they refuse violence and extremism. Dr. Albetania continued, "The campaign came to instill the principles of moderation, which our religion urges us to do." He added, "We are extremely thankful to His Royal Highness, Prince Khalid Al Faisal, who is the advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and who is also the Governor of Makkah Province, on the launch of the campaign under the slogan "No for infidelity, degeneracy  ... Yes for thinking and moderation." Dr. Albetania further reported, "The participation in the campaign was a civilized behavior through which we expressed our rejection of all forms of extremism, and our determination to fight terrorism, and to inculcate in us the principle of moderation and tolerance." Finally, he noted that the interaction of everyone with the campaign and their participation by placing a mark, was an evidence of their consciousness of duty towards their religion and their homeland.

It is noteworthy that the "Loyalty mark" campaign received an unprecedented reaction from the students in a move that aimed at collecting the University students' imprints, which expressed their rejection of extremism and intolerance, and which calls for moderation and tolerance.
