University and King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue hold "Tebian" project.

The King Khalid University (KKU), represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, and in cooperation with the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue, is holding Tebian project, during the period from 19 to 23/5/1437 AH. The project aims at spreading the values of moderation and tolerance, and reject extremism in all its forms, as well as the prevention of destructive ideas and extremism.

On this very important matter, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Merra bin Saad Al-Habash, explained that the project would provide various training and talk shows directed to different segments of the society in general, and to the university community in particular. In addition, the project aims at the rehabilitation of the participants, providing them with scientific skills that will make them able to detect intellectual distractions during a dialogue, and the consolidation of the language of dialogue and understanding, to deal with intellectual problems. Dr. Al-Habash said, "The program will provide training programs, awareness exhibitions, workshops, seminars, youth dialogues, scientific lectures to be offered by a group of scholars, preachers, and journalists in the Kingdom, in addition to several competitions that have been launched for students in short films, info graphics, and designs in the area of the project. Prizes will be presented." Dr. Al-Habash called on the community and the students to attend the occasion, so as to benefit from the projects that develop moderate thinking, and fosters a spirit of national belonging.
