The University signed contracts with a total cost more than 23 million SR.

King Khalid University President, Prof.Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Hamid Aldawood in the presence of university vice Presidents and many officials signed a group of new contracts with a total cost 23.035.000 SR with a number of organizations and national corporations. These contracts included a project of supervision on housing project for Postgraduate Studies  students( male- female) with a total cost 10.032.000 SR and the project of syllabus and e-units design   with a total cost 8.394.200 SR  in addition to contracts to supply and install equipment, chemicals,  consumables, and educational supplies for Medicine College (male and Female) with a total cost 2.937.586 SR, a project to distribute the university journal, Afaq with a cost  (557.136 SR. The signature included a contract to supply Computer Sciences College Library with new books and syllabus with a total amount 459.876 SR in addition to a contract to supply and install  Voting Handset system for 6 auditorium in Medicine College with a total cost 354.000 SR and a contract to supply the annual order for Pharmacy college with a total cost 300.202 SR .

The University President emphasis that these contracts will achieve many of the university planned goals and in the same time save the necessary demands for the university facilities. He pointed at the generous support the university delivered from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques , King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, may God protect him, and His Highness the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy of His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz besides the follow and care of Aseer region Prince His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz.
