University Leadership Support is Behind the Success of Academic Development and Quality Deanship Training Activities

With the ongoing support and encouragement received from King Khalid University rector and the direct supervision of vice rector for development and quality, the Academic Development and Quality Deanship concluded the first term training activities, which included (11) events attended by about (1262) faculty members and students. Dr. Omar Agail dean of the Academic Development and Quality Deanship declared that this year training sessions were significant due to the fact that they were not all held in the university main campus but went out to the university regional branches, where parallel five workshops were presented by the deanship consultants.

 

   Dr. Omar Agail also added that the deanship activated cooperation with other university deanships and units to achieve the university objective of developing employees' cognitive and professional abilities, as the Students’ Gaudiness Center with the cooperation of the Academic Development and Quality Deanship organized an event. He also mentioned that the benefits of these trainings and events were not just limited to the university employees, as some employees from both Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and the Directorate of Public Education in Asir attended these events as a gesture of community service and spreading quality awareness on behalf of the Academic Development and Quality Deanship and King Khalid University .

 

 Dr. Omar Agail assured that the Academic Development and Quality deanship will do more efforts to achieve the deanship’s goals in the future with the support of the university leaders and effective participation from employees. The Academic Development and Quality Deanship is preparing the training sessions of next term for the academic year 1434-1435AH. These events will consist of training sessions on the university level and the national and international level and will be announced later on promising that future sessions will be unique and worthwhile .

 

Finally, Dr. Omar thanked the efforts of all people in the deanship that contributed to the success of these workshops, specially Dr. Abdulaziz Alhajri, vice dean for development.
