Al Shathri, Al Ghedan and Al Jobailan, enrich University Theater within the activities of “Tebian” project.

Dr. Saad Al Shathri, the advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud - may God protect him - delivered lecture in the theater of King Khalid University in Abha. The lecture was delivered on Wednesday. It was entitled 'The Story of Excessiveness.'The delivered lecture was within the activities of “Tebian” project, which was organized by the University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Center of King Abdul Aziz for National dialogue.

Dr. Saad discussed the means of the prevention of excessiveness, and ways of the avoidance of following the streams of deviant groups. Also discussed in the lecture was the impact of excessiveness on those groups, where he pointed out that Allah granted us many blessings, including the blessing that our country is a country which worships only one God - the Lord of Glory - and which is free from the aspects of polytheism, and which conducts its affairs on the of bases the Islamic law. Dr. Saad further pointed out that the country's judicial system was based on the law of Allah, and those who support it are the graduates of the Faculty of Islamic Law. He concluded with the assertion that there was unity of decision, after the fighting of the community against one another, adding that everyone who has blessings was envied.

Next, came the turn of a Journalist - Salah Al Edan - who delivered a lecture in the same theater. The lecture was entitled 'Do not borrow your mind', in which he talked about the role of the society in spreading malicious rumors, and how through the circulation of those rumors, the the desires of the enemy were served. He pointed out that there were many people among the citizens performing the role of the journalist, hence the necessity of community enlightenment regarding what they should talk about or publish, and what they should not. He added that the taste of the most sections of society has become on the way down, and that in following the fashion, people were neglecting the most important things, which have the great influence on their lives and on their communities.

Lectures of “Tebian” project were concluded by hosting Sheikh Suleiman Al jobailan, last Thursday, where he presented a lecture entitled 'How Do You Think?' In the lecture, he discussed many problems being faced by the community, due to the repulsion in society, and the gap existing between  its various segments, stressing through the lecture on the fact that, the leaning of the drifted minds towards extremism, and their limited thinking, were the main reason of their destructive ideas. He indicated that they should be open areas of discussion at the levels of universities and educational institutions, as well as at homes, in order to eliminate extremism and to protect all the youth from it.
