Winners of Best Innovation Competition Announced

King Khalid University, represented by the Talent, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Center, announced the winners of the Best Innovation Competition to find creative solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Hasan Al-Sheikh, student at the College of Computer Science, won first place for creating a line tracker robot. Bayader Ahmed Al-Essa, an employee at Saudi Aramco, won second place for creating a trolley sterilizer. Yusra Al-Hassan Abdo, student at the College of Science and Arts in Rijal Alma, won third place for the innovation of a fabric mask with nanotechnology.

 

Talent, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Center Head, Dr. Mohammad Al-Maghrabi, explained that this competition, which attracted 500 participants as part of the Mobaderoon initiative, is targeted to those interested in innovation from all segments of society. It aimed to provide the community with an opportunity to innovate and provide creative ideas and solutions.
