Students' innovative ideas are turned into real projects at the University.

King Khalid University, represented by the Vice - Presidency for Development and Quality, and the Deanship of Student Affairs, and in collaboration with Alsmo Company for the Development of Youth, have started receiving creative students' ideas in order to be turned into realistic projects through practical and influential ways. The aim is to discover, to launch their abilities, and to enable students to enter into entrepreneurship investment businesses, based on the latest methods, and effective means in a practical way.

Earlier, the Dean of Student Affairs of King Khalid University, Dr. Merra bin Saad Al Habash has explained that the university "is supporting financially, and in alliance with the company to assist in organization of the project, and in the signing contracts, which will show the students' projects, in addition to providing a variety of developmental solutions for students in the field of entrepreneurship, and not for financial support".

On this regard, His Highness the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alsmo Company, Prof. Ahmed Asiri explained that the main objective of the project was not advertisement, but creating an entrepreneur person who would be capable of controlling the challenges of entrepreneurship. He said, "In most of Saudi universities we passed by, we received acceptance. But remarkably we found acceptance, adoption, the desire to share ideas, and the attempt to develop ideas only at King Khalid University." The deanship called on all students, who may wish to show up and share their ideas of investment, to visit the company's Website (info@alsmo.com.sa) for registration and inquiry. Moreover, the Deanship informed that the discovery of a university students' competence has to pass through three stages: the stage of discovery, the stage of empowerment, and then the application stage; by making a trip to Japan.

 It is noteworthy that the program will organize a student trip to Japan in order to provide the participants with different experiences in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship in Japan, in order to develop the skills of exploration and development.
