University Completes its Preparations to Welcome 55 Thousand Students at the Beginning of the Second Semester for the Academic Year 1444AH

King Khalid University completed its preparations to welcome its 55 thousand
students for the second semester of the academic year 1444AH. That is by preparing
all colleges and classrooms, as well as arranging and broadcasting academic schedules
for more than 8,000 diploma and bachelor's sections.

 

The Dean of Admission and Registration at the University, Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al-
Qarni, assured the readiness of the university faculties to resume the education
process for the second semester of the academic year 1444. He also added that
students were given the authority to choose courses from the middle of the previous
semester via the electronic portal "Academia", through simple steps and under a fixed
schedule. Additionally, Al-Qarni pointed that the university is making great efforts
through all its sectors to ensure the preparedness of the university's facilities,
buildings, and classrooms, as plans have been put in place to ensure the establishment
of an academic climate that encourages both teaching and learning.

 

It is noteworthy that the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies, in coordination with
colleges, has completed its preparations to receive postgraduate students in higher
diploma, MA, and Ph.D. programs after broadcasting their study schedules and
assigning the courses to faculty members.
