Dr. Zahba Abdullah Al Raiza, the Vice Dean of Scientific Research Deanship and Associate Professor of Mathematics at the College of Science, received King Khalid University's scientific research excellence award.
The research excellence awards has an accurate and clear criteria, such as the number of published researches during the last three years, the number of financially supported projects (whether by the University or any other entities) , in addition to the number of published or translated books and the number of patents.
Al Raiza, has a career full of giving, she worked in many positions such as: Head of Department, Vice Dean and Dean, she also participated in more than 70 symposiums and workshops, worked in many committees, won many excellence awards and published 54 scientific and research papers.
Al Raiza believes that the purpose of excellence is not limited to winning awards, but extends to improving performance and increasing quality, she also believes that the excellence awards require collective efforts to serve the university and our generous country.
Al Raiza, believes that the excellence award is a positive encouragement for the members of King Khalid University, adding that winning the awards requires an active role and noticeable effort demonstrated by the applicants, which will lead to better performance and implement the best practices.
Al Raiza thanked His Excellency, the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solami, for his unlimited support , she also thanked the University Agency for Quality and Development , the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Agency and the Deanship for Academic Development and Quality for their constant devoted efforts in achieving the highest standards of quality in education.
