Overview
This branch of King Khalid University is situated in Tihama, Aseer region. It provides its services to the residents of Tihama Governorate and to its centers and towns, which are Mahail Aseer, Rijal Alma', Bariq, Almajarda, Al-Burk, and also to some of the surrounding governorates that are under Makkah Al-Mukarramah providence through a number of colleges that hold several disciplines where more than ten thousand students are studying in. Furthermore, since the establishment of the branch administration in 1434 AH, it has witnessed many overhauls. The most important one being the activation of many administrations and supporting deanships, agencies and the transition of all colleges to governmental modern buildings that are equipped with the newest equipment.
