The President of King Khalid University, Prof. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al-Dawoud inspected a number of urgent and future projects at the branch of the university in Tehama Asir. He visited the branch management new building in Mahayal Asir, then he wandered in the corridors of the building, which include administrative offices, and service departments.
Then, His Excellency met the Supervisor of the Branch, Prof. Saeed Bin Mohammed Raffa, the Dean of the Community College, a number of faculty members, and staff to discuss a number of matters that interest the branch. During the meeting, Al-Dawoud thanked all employees on all exerted efforts that are clear and touchable in the paradigm shift which currently takes place in the university colleges in Tihama.
He emphasized that the university is seeking to achieve all of the educational requirements that serve students in the Higher Education in order to improve the educational process in Asir region. He praised the attention given to King Khalid University by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Highness the Crown Prince and Crown Deputy - God Protects them – in addition to the care and follow-up of His Royal Highness, the Prince of Asir region. The University of Bishah is a clear example of this concern.
On the other hand, the President inspected the girls Colleges' buildings at Mahayil Asir branch. The visit included buildings established at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the College of Applied Medical Sciences, where he stood on the workflow, and listened to a detailed explanation of the projects, and what has been done. Additionally, His Highness did an inspecting visit to the current girls' colleges at Mahayl branch, including the Faculty of Science and the Arts, and the College of Applied Medical Sciences for Girls at Mahyail.
During the visit, the President accompanied the Vice- President, Dr. Mari Bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, and the University Vice-President for projects, Dr. Suleiman Bin Mohammed Al-Soyan, the Supervisor of the University Branch in Tehama, Dr. Saeed Bin Mohammed Raffah, and the Dean of the community service College, Dr. Mohammed Al-Qarni, besides a number of directors of relevant departments.
