Under the aegis of His Excellency the University Rector, Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, the Public Relations Administration at the Deanship of Faculty Affairs and Teaching Staff organized the 1438-1439 AH Retirement Ceremony at the Lasan Campus.
This year's ceremony is an extension of the University's annual appreciation gesture which serves to demonstrate gratitude to faculty members and employees for their achievements and exemplary service.
In his speech, Rector Al-Solamy confirmed that the retirees will always remain members of the University and that their experience and work will always be among the University legacy. "We must establish a retirement board to benefit from the experience and expertise of those who have served and contributed to the University establishment and success," he said. He also pointed out that there are numerous platforms we can use to connect us with the retirees to help make use of their expertise. At the conclusion of his address, he thanked the retirees for their devotion to the University and extended his gratitude to the Deanship of Faculty Members and Teaching Staff for organizing the ceremony.
Following after, the Dean of Faculty and Staff Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Hamed Al-Beheiry, delivered a speech where he thanked Rector Al-Solamy for supporting all employees and faculty members.
The ceremony was concluded by a statement given by Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Qarni, who praised the service and its sponsors expressing his joy towards this generous gesture. "Today's tribute to us is a proof of loyalty, which is common in our University," he added.
