    "Universities' role in promoting dialogue among civilizations" symposium continues its sessions for the second day.

    The symposium on the "Universities' role in promoting dialogue among civilizations" continues its sessions for the second day. The symposium is organized by King Khalid University (KKU), and is taking place in the University City in Abha, with the participation of 30 researchers from around the world. It will hold a total of six sessions in the two days.

    Sessions of the second day began with the participation of five researchers, and was headed by a professor from King Khalid University, Prof. Ali Al-Zaher. The first scientific paper was for His Excellency, the President of the Scientific Committee of the symposium, Dr. Saleh Obuarad. It is entitled "educational guidelines for the role of universities in promoting dialogue among civilizations from the perspective of Islamic Education." Dr. Obuarad talked about the concept and importance of the dialogue of civilizations from the perspective of Islamic education, the role of universities in promoting dialogue among civilizations from the perspective of Islamic education, as well as educational controls, in addition to its proposed model.

    The second paper was presented by a professor from King Saud Chair for the Study of Higher Education in the King Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Prof. Abdul Mohsen Samih. The paper carried the title "The role of universities in promoting dialogue among civilizations." In the paper, Prof. Samih focused on the experience of the University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, in promoting dialogue among civilizations, thereby contributing to the arrival of its mission to specialists and to those interested in the scientific community.

    For his part, Prof. Ahmed Zayla'i, highlighted in the third paper, the experience of King Saud University in the dialogue of civilizations, which was represented in the Saudi-French forum for dialogue among civilizations, organized by King Saud University as a model.

    In the fourth paper, professor of the Arabian Gulf and the east of the Arabian Peninsula history, from King Khalid University, Dr. Nadia Al-Dosari, pointed to the meaning and concept of dialogue among civilizations and important goals, history and stages, stressing that the dialogue of civilizations has become a requirement advocated by many thinkers, by virtue of the fact that it has become one of the concepts that was imposed by the developments in the changes in international relations after the cold war.

    The first session for the second day of the symposium was concluded by a scientific paper presented by Dr. Zuhair Al Shehri, from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, entitled "The role of historical consciousness in the cultural communication and in highlighting the identity." Dr. Zuhair Al Shehri stressed the need to identify a clear and precise concept of awareness of the historical destruction of historical and cultural aspects of the nation, in addition to tracing the role of historical consciousness in achieving cultural interaction, through intellectual, cognitive and mental areas, to monitor and to investigate the role of historical consciousness in highlighting identity, to deepen and to inculcate that in the younger generations.

    The second session was chaired by for the professor of Arabic literature at King Khalid University, Prof. Abdullah Hamid. The first paper of the second session was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts of King Faisal University, Al-Ahsa, Prof. Dhafer Al Shehri. It was about how to represent the dialogue of civilizations in the academic institutions as a theoretical problematic and a procedural bet.

    For his part, Professor of International Comparative Education, who is also the Secretary-General of the International Council of the Arabic language, Professor, Dr. Ali Musa, pointed in his paper titled "Language address and role of universities in promoting dialogue among civilizations", to the role of language in universities, because language represents intellectual, scientific and technical products that have been the industrialization of scientific centers that produced the science and knowledge systems.

    The third paper handled the topic of "Arabization for the dialogue of civilizations". It was presented by the Director of the Arabic Language Research Center at the University of Umm Al-Qura, Dr. Saeed Al-Qarni.

    The second session witnessed the participation of both the Dean of the Institute for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, at Umm Al Qura University, Dr. Adel Banamh, and Abdulrahman Albeshari, who presented a paper entitled "The Impact of the grammar lesson in the drafting of the civilized mind."The two scholars uncovered in their paper, some of the grammar draft of the mind, and how to contribute to building a civilized mind.
