The King Khalid University (KKU), represented by the outpatient clinics of the university medical city and in coordination with the Health Affairs Branch of Asir Province, are providing vaccines for meningitis and seasonal influenza. The University is calling on its faculty members, students and other members of staff, and their families who wish to perform Al Hajj this year to take the vaccines.
The Manager of the outpatient clinics in the university medical city, Mr. Aidh Asiri, has clarified that the vaccinations of this year pilgrimage are currently available in the outpatient clinics of university medical city, near the Asir Central Hospital. The vaccines will be given to those who are interested in performing Al Hajj this year. The exercise will be during the official working days throughout the week - from Sunday to Thursday - The time is from eight in the morning until three in the afternoon.
From his part, the Dean of Faculty and Staff Affairs, and the official speaker of the university Dr. Mohammad Al Beheir, has stressed that providing the vaccine came under the guidance and follow-up of the Rector of KKU, His Excellency, Prof. Dr. Falah bin Raja Allah Al Solmay. Dr. Al Beheir has also stated that the action was part of the university's keenness on the provision of medical staff to provide medical service, as one of the its contributions to its employees who are interested in performing Hajj, in addition to the health services provided by the clinics throughout the year.
