His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, attended the annual Eid Al-Fitr ceremony for university employees. The event, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in cooperation with the General Administration of Institutional Communication, was held at the University Oasis Center in the University City in Al-Fara’a, with the attendance of university vice-presidents, deans, and several employees.
On this occasion, His Excellency, on behalf of himself and the university's staff and students, extended his warmest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister—may God protect them. He also congratulated HRH Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir Region, and HRH Prince Khalid bin Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor.
Al-Solami highlighted the importance of the upcoming phase as students return to classes next Sunday, emphasizing the need for academic and administrative readiness to enhance educational outcomes. He noted that such occasions foster a spirit of belonging and social values within the workplace. Similar celebrations were held at the Tihama branch and the female student campus in Guraiger to strengthen social ties across all university locations.
