KKU Launches Diverse Programs to Celebrate International Students' Day and International Day for Tolerance 2025 - King Khalid University

King Khalid University is celebrating International Students' Day and the International Day for Tolerance 2025 through a series of programs and events organized by its various units, with the aim of highlighting the values of tolerance and coexistence among different cultures. The activities are being held from November 16 to 18.

The three-day events include field visits to a number of historical, heritage, and development institutions in the Aseer region to acquaint international students with the civilizational heritage and national development. Additionally, the "Cultures of Peoples" Exhibition is being held, where the General Directorate of International Students, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, showcases the customs and traditions of participating nations, providing a space for cultural exchange among students. The program also features a dialogue session titled "Tolerance: A Value for Life and a National Approach," in addition to media interviews with international students to learn about their university experiences.

In the same context, the Intellectual Awareness Unit, in cooperation with the Applied College in Muhail Asir, organized a dialogue session on tolerance. Meanwhile, the General Directorate of International Students is offering training programs and workshops aimed at developing students' skills and enhancing their integration into the university environment.

These activities are part of the university's programs to enhance cultural interaction and raise awareness of the values of tolerance and coexistence, which positively reflects on the university education environment and strengthens the presence of international students in its academic system. It is noteworthy that the number of international students at King Khalid University is approximately 3,000 students, representing 106 nationalities.
