Princess Haifa Al-Faisal Honors KKU for its Excellence in the 2025 National Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign - King Khalid University

Under the patronage and in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Haifa bint Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Chairwoman of the Zahra Breast Cancer Association, King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs (Female Students), was honored for achieving the Silver Rank in the Universities and Academic Sector track. This recognition was part of its participation in the activities of the "Early Screening is Best" national campaign for breast cancer awareness 2025.

This honor came as a culmination of the university's and the deanship's efforts in executing a comprehensive awareness plan that included a number of educational activities and events aimed at enhancing community awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer. This aligns with the university's continuous endeavor to promote public health and consolidate the concept of social responsibility.

The award was received by the University Vice President for Educational Affairs, Professor Dr. Saad bin Mohammed Daajam, in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Qahtani, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs (Female Section), Dr. Areej Aal Bahir, and a number of the deanship's staff. This took place during the closing ceremony organized by the Association last Monday in Riyadh.

For her part, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Female Students, Dr. Areej Aal Bahir, affirmed that this honor is an extension of the university's efforts to disseminate health awareness among its affiliates and the community, promote public health and social responsibility, and support partnerships with national entities concerned with health and volunteer work, in achievement of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to raise the level of awareness and disease prevention.

It is worth noting that the Zahra Breast Cancer Association is considered one of the leading national entities in the field of breast cancer awareness, contributing through its various programs and initiatives to the dissemination of health knowledge and the provision of support to patients and their families.
