
King Khalid University Hosts Conclusion of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Futsal Championship Qualifiers for Female Students - King Khalid University
The Saudi Universities Sports Federation (SUSF) concluded the activities of the "Futsal Championship Qualifiers for Female Students," hosted by King Khalid University (KKU) as part of the 16th sports season. The event took place at the University City Hall in Al-Fara’a, with the participation of several Saudi universities. The tournament, which lasted for four days, witnessed a competitive atmosphere among the participating teams, resulting in Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) winning first place, King Khalid University securing second place, and Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) taking third place. The conclusion reflected the development of women's university sports in the Kingdom.
The tournament featured a number of matches that determined the final standings. Princess Nourah University defeated Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (5–0) and beat King Khalid University (2–0). Meanwhile, King Khalid University defeated Taif University (2–0) and drew with Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (0–0). Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University also defeated Umm Al-Qura University (3–1) and drew with King Khalid University. The remaining matches saw close results, highlighting the strong competition for the final spots.
As part of the accompanying events, the University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a Chess Activation Tournament with the participation of female students from the universities. Participants won three different medals, adding a competitive flavor that promotes integration between university sports activities.
This hosting comes within the efforts of King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, to support university sports and provide a competitive environment that contributes to developing students' skills and enhancing their participation in national championships.
