The Medical City Hospital at King Khalid University celebrated World Patient Safety Day 2025, which this year is held under the slogan "Safe Care for Every Newborn and Every Child." This celebration reaffirms the hospital's mission to establish the highest quality standards and ensure patient safety, especially for newborns and children.
The event began with the attendance of Dr. Abdullah Al-Sabani and Dr. Awad Al-Shahrani, along with the quality and patient safety team. They inaugurated a dedicated awareness booth in the hospital lobby titled "The Safety of Our Newborns and Children is Our Priority." The booth featured a variety of educational materials, presentations, and interactive activities aimed at visitors and patients to promote a culture of safety.
The event also included a tour of the pediatric department, during which officials reviewed the initiatives and programs in place to ensure safe care and monitor continuous efforts to foster a secure and healthy environment, embodying the spirit of the occasion's slogan.
This celebration is part of the hospital's commitment to aligning with the global initiatives of the World Health Organization.
