King Khalid University and the High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), aiming to foster collaboration and enhance the planning and execution of joint projects.
The signing took place at the university campus in Al-Fara'a, in the presence of His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaallah Al-Solami, and His Excellency the HCIS Governor, Eng. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani. The MOU outlines several areas of joint cooperation, most notably supporting innovative projects, developing digital technologies and applications, and implementing awareness programs and educational initiatives.
This agreement reflects the university's commitment to qualification through cooperative training, the exchange of expertise between both parties, and adherence to national governance and standards. This will be achieved by working within relevant national frameworks and policies and ensuring all initiatives align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The MOU also aims to strengthen partnerships, exchange expertise and knowledge, and utilize technical and research capabilities to serve the industrial security system and related vital sectors. This will achieve mutual objectives and contribute to supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 through a strategic partnership in innovation and scientific and research support. This collaboration will help develop solutions in the field of industrial security by designing and implementing joint training programs and workshops to enhance the efficiency of national cadres in industrial security, safety, and risk management.
