These technologies, he noted, directly contribute to increasing the efficiency of treatments and improving the quality of clinical outcomes.
Dr. Al-Qarni added that the forum aims to enhance scientific knowledge about the latest digital dental implant technologies and their clinical applications. It will also train practitioners on how to integrate these technologies into their clinics, which will positively impact the quality of healthcare. Furthermore, the forum seeks to discuss the economic impact of these technologies in improving clinic efficiency and reducing long-term costs, as well as showcasing modern innovations in guided surgery and 3D printing and their role in enhancing patient care.
He pointed out that the forum will provide a platform for dialogue and interaction, bringing together practitioners, researchers, and the industrial sector. This will enhance opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of innovative solutions that contribute to the future of dentistry. He affirmed that the forum will be a prominent scientific and professional event that will enrich the field of dentistry locally and internationally, laying new foundations for more advanced and sustainable practices.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah Awad Al-Amri, President of the Saudi Society of Periodontology and Dental Implants, confirmed that the forum is an extension of the society's efforts to support professional and research development in the specialty of periodontology and dental implants. He noted that this year's forum theme reflects the global trend toward digital transformation and embodies the Kingdom's commitment to keeping up with this technological boom in the healthcare sector.
He added that through this event, the society aims to enhance its leading role in raising the efficiency of healthcare practitioners and opening new horizons for cooperation with universities, research centers, and the industrial sector, thereby serving the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing healthcare services.
