As part of its active participation in the International Education Exhibition (EDGEx), held in Riyadh from April 13 to 16, 2025, King Khalid University is showcasing its latest academic and technical innovations, emphasizing its leading role in developing an educational environment that aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and enhances its global presence in the field of education.
His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, affirmed that participating in this leading event, held under the slogan "Beyond Future Readiness" where education meets unlimited potential, represents a strategic opportunity to showcase the most prominent developments in academic disciplines and digital services, reflecting the university's commitment to providing an advanced educational system that responds to the changes of the times and meets the needs of students and the labor market.
For his part, the University's Vice President for Educational Affairs and Head of the Supervisory Committee, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, emphasized that the university's participation in this exhibition reinforces its orientation towards building a flexible and comprehensive educational environment, noting that the main goal of the participation is to enhance the academic identity of King Khalid University at the local and international levels, while emphasizing the provision of a distinguished visitor experience through the latest technological solutions, enhancing communication and interaction with the global academic community, in addition to attracting the best talents from students and researchers.
The Dean of the Deanship of Electronic Services, Dr. Hamed bin Saleh Al-Qahtani, explained that the developed "Liqaa" platform, where knowledge meets experience in a digital space through the link https://liqaa.kku.edu.sa/ar, allows communication with the best experts from King Khalid University, and represents a qualitative leap in supporting meetings and documenting work, noting that it provides interactive solutions by providing a flexible mechanism for booking appointments and organizing meetings, which enhances the effectiveness of participation and contributes to achieving a distinguished interactive experience for visitors.
The university's participation will include the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements with academic bodies, companies, and various organizations, which supports its endeavors to expand its network of relationships and achieve its development goals. The university is also working to provide various workshops that focus on developing future skills in the fields of artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and entrepreneurship, in addition to its participation in panel discussions and dialogues that discuss issues of education, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the development of national competencies.
