Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, the Eighth Olympic games for the first semester 1443 were concluded.
During the closing ceremony, His Excellency stressed the importance of university sports in refining the skills of male and female students, and the impact it has on both physical and psychological health, in addition to its role in discovering talents that contribute to the future of sports in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia ,which align with the Kingdom’s vision 2030.
On his part, the Dean in term, Dr. Ahmed Al-Atifi, explained that the activities of the Eighth Olympics included a number of competitions, including five-a-side football, beach volleyball, table tennis and athletics, which witnessed the participation of an estimate of 450 students from 21 colleges. In addition, the event's director, Abdullah Al-Olayani, said : the olympics aim to offer students a healthy competitive environment that enhances their sports skills and allows them to engage in activities that are beneficial to them .
Its worth noting that his excellency also crowned the the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushait In the five-room final, and honored the winners of all competitions for this season.
