University Vice President, Prof. Mohammed bin Hamid Al-Buhairi, attended the launching of a MAXIMO training program, which is a software to facilities maintenance management.
Al- Buhairi, stressed that the University is keen on providing the latest programs in line with best practices to develop the performance and environment of the work place in the university as well as enhancing the quality of outcomes to contribute to the achieve the kingdoms 2030 vision .
On his part, the Head of Engineering Affairs, and General Supervisor of the MAXIMO Training Project, Eng. Meshaal bin Jaber Al Shuraim, explained that the software will contribute effectively in providing practical applications in many areas such as: Business Management, Asset Management, Contract Management, Procurement and Inventory Management.
He also stressed that the Software’s efficiency will help reduce the number of system breakdowns, the amount of administrative work, it will also increase productivity, the use of resources and the implantation risk minimization strategies as well.
