The Scientific Council at King Khalid University approved promoting 62 faculty members to the rank of associate professor and professor, in a number of collages and departments during the last academic year 1441 AH.
The Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, the Chairman of the Scientific Council Prof. Saad bin Abdulrahman Al-Amri, stressed on the agency’s eagerness in raising the University status. The agency represented in the Scientific Council and the Deanship of Scientific Research, aims to achieve this through raising the level of scientific production for all faculty members and promoting the culture of publishing scientific research in approved journals.
It’s worth mentioning that the University’s executive rules related to promotions and publishing are reviewed and updated in order to keep pace with the development in the field, and ensure the quality of the presented scientific papers.
