For the second time, in order to provide opportunities for the largest number of citizens and in line with efforts to localize jobs, King Khalid University announces its need to fill vacant academic positions and those currently occupied by non-Saudis for the academic year 1439–1440 AH.
General Requirements:
The applicant must be a Saudi national.
The PhD degree (and promotion decision for applicants to Associate Professor or Professor ranks) must be from a Saudi university or another recognized university.
The PhD specialization must be an extension of the bachelor’s and master’s specialization.
Passing the personal interview and tests conducted by academic departments, and delivering a scientific lecture for final candidates.
Requirements for Assistant Professor Applicants:
The applicant must have obtained academic degrees through full-time regular study with residency in the country of study, not through distance learning, correspondence, or similar modes.
Proof of ability to teach in English must be provided if the applicant graduated from a university where the language of instruction was not English, as follows:
For applicants to language and translation programs: a minimum score of 550 in TOEFL or 6.5 in IELTS.
For applicants to other programs taught in English (health sciences, sciences, administrative and financial sciences, engineering, computing): a minimum score of 500 in TOEFL or 6.0 in IELTS.
Application Method:
Applicants who meet the requirements must complete the application form electronically. Applications will be received starting from Wednesday 28 / 5 / 1439 AH until the end of Tuesday 4 / 6 / 1439 AH.
