New Partnership to Stimulate Development
In a sustained effort towards identifying excellence among administrative figures, and from the belief in the importance of preparing and training leadership to develop the level of performance and quality of services provided in the Asir Region, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz witnessed the signing of a partnership and cooperation agreement between the Emirate of the Asir Region and King Khalid University, which was represented by His Royal Highness Prince Turkey bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor, and His Excellency Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, King Khalid University Rector.
The agreement forms a cooperation between the two entities, which is a result of the responsibilities they hold to the community in developing human capital while contributing to the level of administrative services provided in the region, especially in the offices of the Emirate of Asir, and governmental bodies in the region. All objectives are in accord with the strategic requirements of Vision 2030 and the goals of the Higher Commission for the Development of Asir which has been recently established. The agreement also applies the potential of the two entities serving the educational, financial, cultural and strategical development of the region.
The signing was attended by His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Asir Region Emirate, Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Rabeeiah, King Khalid University Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad bin Dajjam, King Khalid University Vice Rector of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Saad Al-Amry, and King Khalid University Vice Rector of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani.
