KKUx Draws in 2 Million Visitors and Grants More Than 60,000 Certificates

The KKUx Learn More initiative has witnessed incredible growth with current statistics showing more than 2,000,000 visitors. Learn More offered all 27 courses, which included more than 1,000 content videos, to everyone for free through April 2020.

 

Vice Rector of Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif Al-Hadithi, asserted that the KKUx Learn More Initiative is driven by the paradigm of safeguarding the health and well-being of their students, staff and faculties and fulfilling their social responsibility to encourage lifelong learning.

 

The initiative included 25 qualitative skill-based courses delivered by 27 expert trainers from around the world. Of note, 51,000 trainees from 26 countries participated in the training with another 60,000 obtaining qualification training.

 

The KKUx platform includes self-paced courses on design thinking, entrepreneurship, forming start-up companies, artificial intelligence, Python 3 coding, and Mandarin basics. Of noteworthy mention, KKUx was the recipient of an award at the WSIS 2019 competition.
