University Launches Blended Learning Forum

King Khalid university represented by the e- learning deanship , is to hold a virtual  forum entitled “ Blended Learning : new challenges and innovative practices “ during the 14th -15th of the month of Muhram 1443Ah. The forum is to include the participation of a  number of specialist from the field of e-learning.

His Excellency King Khalid University President, prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami, explained that this forum  comes in the context of enhancing the role of e-learning as a modern educational tools,  that has been  proven impactful. Adding that the forum  aims to bring together experts and academics specialized in e-learning and blended learning to transfer and exchange their expertise and experiences in all aspects and means. In addition  to highlighting the forums goals  to discuss the  challenges that  teachers or faculty members may face and how to address them to  foresee a  future of blended learning in line with the direction and strategies of the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in pursuit of achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 with regard to promoting creativity and innovation in digital transformation.

On his part, the Dean of the E-Learning Deanship at the university, Dr. Nayef Jabali, explained that the forum, sponsored by His Excellency the President of the University, will include a number of themes,  most prominent  of which are the concepts and methods of teaching in blended learning, course design in blended learning, blended learning in teaching  development, the most important challenges and the  future of blended learning. 

It is worth noting,  that the virtual forum  was fully carried  out by the Deanship of E-Learning at King Khalid University, and includes  modern technologies  and new approaches.
