University to sign contracts for development projects worth more than SR 60 million.

His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood has on Sunday, signed 25 contracts with a total estimated value of more than SR 60 million.

The contracts included an agreement with a number of commercial institutes and large companies to develop the educational process at the university, and to provide the university with needed supplies such as medical instruments, chemical and physical devices, networks and maintenance, as well as the training and educating corporate for the development of vocational training of the employees of the university.

His Excellency also signed special agreements of establishing and restoring the Academic Complex in Lassan, and that of the building of the College of Education for Girls in Bisha, as well as the academic complex at King Abdullah Road. Other agreements included amendments to the works of the roofs of the academic complex in Mahalah, and another for modifications of the laboratory of the plant stem cells in the Faculty of Medicine and the University Center for the female study at Asir hospital. Finally, there were the agreements for the establishment of auditoriums and specialized laboratories for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Belgarn, and that of renting a building for the branch of the university administration in Tehamma Asir.
