Signing Accreditation Contracts for 18 Academic Programs.
On Tuesday the 2nd of February 2021, His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Sulami, met with His Excellency the President of Education and Training Evaluation Commission, Dr. Hussam Zaman, and the CEO of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation Dr. Suhail Bajamal, and their accompanying delegation in his office in the university main campus Greger.
On his part, the University Vice President of Quality and Development Prof. Marzan Al Shahrani, welcomed all the attendees and commended the Education and Training Evaluation Commission for their cooperation, he then noted that the university is institutionally accredited since 2017, and has accredited a number of academic programs, such as: the Computer Science program , the engineering program , which is accredited locally and internationally, the medicine and surgery programs and the business management program which are accredited nationally. After that, His Excellency the President of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, Dr. Hussam Zaman, signed accreditation contracts for 18 academic programs, His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Sulami, represented the university in signing the contracts.
List of College with programs to be accredit :
- College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion
- College of Education
- College of Science
- College of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushait
It’s worth noting that the programs include five bachelor programs, eleven masters and two doctoral programs.
The commission’s delegation concluded their visit in a virtual meeting, in which they discussed university plans, and methods to enhance cooperation between the two parties.
