Indian worker embrace the religion of Islam during 2nd Summer Festival

2nd Summer Festival of King Khalid University witnessed the declaration of Indian worker Islam after he uttered the Testimony of Faith at the hands of volunteer (Daiah) working in the cooperative office for Call and Guidance in Khamis Mushayt.

He changed his name to Wasim "Handsome" and who was named before his conversion to Islam "Shiwagautam". He came to Said Arabia to work as a driver in Khamis province with a family there, where he was influenced by the treatment of his sponsor, who was offering him advice and books that explain the religion of Islam.

Wasim added that, during the eight months of reading books and the treatment of his sponsor, his love and his desire of Islam increased. He visited Cooperative Office for Call and communities Guidance in Khamis Mushayt which in turn provides advice and guidance to him that even made him wants to declare his conversion to Islam.

It is worth to mention, the Cooperative Office participated in exhibition of 2nd KKU Summer Festival. The exhibition of the Cooperative Office distributed brochures, booklets, Dawah tapes in many languages to a number of non-Muslim communities in the university. In addition to that, The workers in the office gave descriptions to the visitor about the activities and efforts of the Cooperative Office in (Dawah) calling people to Islam.
