Witnessing a variety of programs to meet all family members' needs,

King Khalid University... launches the 2nd Summer Festival today

Under the auspices of the Prince of Asir region, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, King Khalid University launches on Sunday the events of the 2nd Summer Festival. The Festival lasts until the 21st of this month, with a new look, and including a number of events and programs offered to all members of the family, which target the population of Asir region and visitors.

This year, the events include a number of programs such as the program God Gives you its Goodness, which is broadcasted live from the site of the festival on the sports channel, and presented by Salah Al-Ghedan, in addition to the program Challenge Field, and Children's Theatre, which supervised by Captain Saleh Al-Areed, audience competitions provided by the Media Professional Abdul Majid Yemeni, an open meeting with KeeK App star, Sultan Al Harthy, nicknamed Mari, and a review of the Customs Administration for the skills of Customs officers, and another for the Directorate General of Civil Defense for the skills of Civil Defense and the  General Department for Combating Drugs. During the days of the Festival, there will be more than 14 diverse exhibition, contests for Expatriates provided by the Cooperative Office for Communities Dawaa.

In addition to holding many free training courses offered by the festival in the development of human resources and sports, such as personal excellence by coach Mohammed Al-Ahdal, Intelligence to Dr. Mohammed Safran, The Seven Habits by the Trainer Fayaa Asiri, Methods of Blending Chromatography by  prof. Moaidh Al-Hajri, Hats and Creative Thinking skills by Dr. Zafer Al-Hammad, Life is a Target by Musa Hamza, in addition to a course in the art of Caricature, another in handling the issues of the society by the artist Abdullah Albargi, a course in the art of Calligraphy provided by the Calligrapher Melfi Al-Shehri and Dr. Saif Al-Din Mohamed Morsi.

Additionally, the Festival organized a number of sports tournaments including: Swimming skills, Soccer, and Table Tennis under the supervision of Walid Yasin and Ali Al-Qahtani, besides daily Equestrian shows offered by Asir Equestrian Club.

On the cultural side, the festival organizes poetry evening for the poets Saeed Al-Manea, Fahd Al-Shahrani, in addition to providing free drawings for the children of Fine Arts Society, and a number of recitations for the vocalist Fahad Matar, and a play entitled escapism for the artists Omar Al-deghari, and Ibrahim Almaziraei.

The Fine Arts Association also provide a theater special for children to address their minds and develop their talents, and the family and the child will find  this year what attract and please them and happy.

Female element will share in the festival, when the University give them a chance through a number of diverse shows and competitions for women, provided by long-experienced trainers in programs and training courses. Courses such as a course entitled Problem-Solving and Decision-Making, presented by Dr. Lubna Al-Ajmi, Innovative Thinking by Dr. Hanan Al-Saidi, Contemporary Styles in Fine Painting by the Artist Iman Al-Qahtani, Communication Skills by Mona Al-Ahmari, Children's Education by Halima Al-Ahmari, Managing Feelings and Emotions by Tahani Al-Qahtani, Dealing with Children Arts by Mona Al-Qahtani, and education at the Time of technology by Dr. Alya Al-Qarni,

 The program also includes holding a number of exhibitions, on top is the health corner for productive families under the supervision of University Centre, in addition to the course of the Cooperative Office for Communities and Dawaa entitled the Art of Dealing with Others, presented by Dr. Nora Alfaifi, A women for a Thousand by Dr Fatimah Yahya, My Identity by  Mona Al-Ahmari, in addition to a health meeting with Dr. Nemaa Ali Riyadh, and a meeting with Prof. Saadi al-Toom under the title, Building Could Stand against Earthquakes, and another cultural one about technology.
