6th Annual Excellence Awards Competition Begins

King Khalid University announces the commencement of the 6th annual Excellence Awards competition period. The competition is to support the university's strategic objectives of continuous improvement in scientific research, academic achievement, and administrative performance. These awards recognize faculty and staff who achieve superior results in their respective capacities. The awards also recognize those who make outstanding efforts in community service.

 

The Excellence Awards are judged on a variety of criteria, and the results determined by the Development Committee and its appurtenant sub-committees. The committees utilize the highest international standards of excellence for performance in a given discipline or sector. The sponsors hold workshops so that the faculty and staff understand the criteria and the evaluation processes. So far, more than 100 employees have participated in these workshops.

 

Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hajri, thanked King Khalid University Rector Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy and Vice Rector of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, for their continuing support. Dean Al-Hajri noted that all university colleges and administrative departments will inform the employees that the nomination period has begun.
