In It's 8th Edition ,King Khalid University Honors Excellence Awards Winners

Under the patronage of his Excellency King Khalid University President  Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Alsolami, King Khalid University represented by the Deanship of Quality and Academic Development held the  8th edition of the University  Excellence Awards Ceremony. The ceremony took place in the Celebrations Center theater in Al-Qara’a city, in the presence of university vice presidents, deans,  university employees, students, and students’ families.

 

In his speech His Excellency King Khalid University President welcomed the attendees and thanked those who worked towards achieving excellence whether students, employees or university entities. He then  commended recent accredited  programs and the winners of this years excellence awards and  stressed the importance of aligning the awards future categories with the university’s future strategies to achieve a sustainable quality  academic environment.

 

On his part the university Vice President of Quality and Development Prof. Marzin Alshahrani delivered a speech, in it  he explained that the university accredited project includes 69 programs which represent 80% of university’s eligible  programs  for accreditation, 43 of which are  accredited locally and internationally, while 26 programs have completed accreditation requirement and  are waiting for the accreditation visits. Al Shahrani, also assured  that the university is keen on sustaining its  accreditation project, through implementing the  Deanship of Academic Development and Quality’s  partnership with  the Education and Training Evaluation Commission to qualify  28 academic quality practitioners from the university employees. He also added that 18 university  members  obtained  academic quality reviewer certificates which  qualify  them as experts and consultants to  all university programs seeking  accreditation. He concluded his speech by stressing that the  Deanship of Academic Development and Quality aspires to qualify 18 programs, bringing the percentage of accredited university programs to 100% by the end of 2023.

 

 

The Dean of the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Salem Al-Qarni, congratulated the  winning entities and individuals  and explained that in the Excellence Awards 8th edition included 53 winers which were represented in, 5 entities and 49 male and female winners

 

 

It’s worth noting that the award ceremony  included a brief summary on the most prominent quality standards, the excellence awards requirement and categories, and the honoring of the 8th edition of the Excellence Awards Winners.
