Under the Patronage of His Excellency King Khalid University President the University Celebrates World Quality Day and Announces Excellence Awards
Under the Patronage His Excellency King Khalid University President Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami , King Khalid University represented by the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality celebrated World Quality Day and honored the winners of the university 7th excellence awards.
In his speech His Excellency the University president congratulated the university members and employees on their achievements and their contribution towards the development and success of King Khalid University. He commended the university initiatives and programs which are a sources of pride and a foundation of quality performance and wished success upon future projects.
Al-Solami also stressed the importance of quality as a perpetual pillar in every aspect of university procedure . He thanked the University Agency for Development and Quality represented by the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality for their efforts in implementing the tasks assigned to them and for organizing the event.
University Vice president of Academic Development and Quality Prof. Marzan Al-Shahrani, also delivered a speech in which he praised King Khalid university success, which and the loyalty and devotion reflected by its members. He highlighted the university latest achievement which included the accreditation of 18 academic programs, completing the accreditation requirements of 28 academic programs, the external review team visit of 25 academic programs, and the scheduling of a visit to three programs in the near future, in addition to the launch of the university’s plan to prepare all academic programs for accreditation.
The ceremony also included the honoring of the excellence award winners, the honoring of the bodies that obtained the ISO9001:2015 international certificate of conformity and the bodies that received program accreditation from NCAAA.
