The University Celebrated World Quality Day.
On Monday, the 30th of November, the Academic Development and Quality Deanship, celebrated the World Quality Day, under the patronage of His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solami.
The ceremony was attended by the CEO of National Quality Strategy, Dr. Khalid Alzahrani, and the Head of the Saudi Department at the Saudi-American Society for Quality, Eng. Ahmed Al-Melhem.
The celebration began with a speech delivered by His Excellency, the University President, he welcomed the attendees and participants in the ceremony, and he stressed the University's keenness on meeting the highest quality standards in the coming years.
On his part, Vice Rector for Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif Aludaithy, delivered a speech on behalf of all the winners of the University Excellence Awards.
The CEO of the National Quality Strategy, Dr. Khalid Alzahrani, presented a lecture about the National Quality Strategy, while Eng. Ahmed Al-Melhem, talked briefly about the Saudi Department's role at the Saudi-American Society for Quality.
It's worth noting, that a lot of the University Academic Programs, were ABET accredited, and accredited by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission as well.
At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency the University President, honored the 18 students who passed the lead auditor training program, and the accredited university programs, in addition to honoring 7 of the university entities, and 30 winners of the faculty members, staff and students.
