Seven University Entities Obtain the ISO 9001:2015 International Certificate of Conformity
Under the supervision of the University Quality and Development Agency represented by the Institutional Excellence Unit, seven entities at King Khalid University obtained the ISO 9001:2015 international certificate of conformity, after completing the justifications and requirements for obtaining the certificate.
The certificate-granting bodies were the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education, the Deanship of Admission and Registration, the Deanship of Graduate Studies, the Deanship of Scientific Research, the Deanship of Student Affairs, and the General Administration of Administrative and Financial Affairs. The certificate was also renewed for the Deanship of Human Resources.
The Vice Dean of the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality at the university and the supervisor of the Institutional Excellence Unit, Dr. Hessa Al-Maloudh, explained, that the Institutional Excellence Unit provided follow-up, technical support and internal auditing to the entities , following His excellency King Khalid University President decision to form a a committee for the quality of administrative systems.
Al-Maloudh added that the second phase of the project, which includes 10 university departments, will be launched during the coming period, stressing that this project is a reflection of His Excellency the University President’s support and the guidance of the university Vice President of Quality and Development.
