More than 2000 Attend the Workshops and Training Programs Offered by the College of Home Economics

The College of Home Economics at King Khalid University recently held more than 37 training programs, which were developed for faculty members, students, and government sector employees.

 

The number of attendees that benefited from the programs within the university reached an estimated 1,200, while the number of external participants reached 1,000.

 

Dean of Home Economics, Dr. Fawziah Ali Ghrees, explained that the college is keen on achieving excellence and providing a variety of programs it believes it could invest in human capital. Dean Ghrees pointed out that the college aims, through its training programs, to prepare candidates in the field of home economics. Dean Ghrees added that they are also keen on developing the skills and talent of university employees in collaboration with private industry and the government sector.

 

Of noteworthy mention, the college plans to establish and develop postgraduate programs, enhance research, and provide high-quality facilities in accord with international standards.
