University receives Excellence Awards nominations

King Khalid University Standing Committee for Excellence Awards, starts, in its headquarters in the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality, receiving candidates' files for the fourth round of the Award of Excellence, for the academic year 1436 - 1437 AH. This came after receiving the approval of the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, in the five branches of the award. The five branches are; excellence in university teaching, distinguished employee, outstanding student, excellence in serving the community (individuals), and excellence in community service (institutions). Receiving files is available during the period from 26 / 05 / 1437 AH to 29 / 6 / 1437 AH.

The Committee indicated that those who would like to participate in the event should read the conditions and terms of the exercise via the excellence awards link, on the web page of the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality.

King Khalid University's insistence on organizing such Excellence awards proves the institution's keenness in promoting excellence and supporting active university education trends among all its stakeholders, in addition to consolidating the culture of excellence, in the dissemination of the concept of quality, in meeting its standards in higher education, in the search for Permanent development, and in cherishing those active players in the university community.

The Excellence Awards of King Khalid University is held annually and is granted at the university level according to specific conditions that are compatible with the concepts of quality and excellence. Granting these awards is subject to precise criteria when evaluating candidates in various stages of filtration.

It is noteworthy that the value of the prizes reaches SR 300,000 distributed as follows: SR 60,000 for Excellence Award in University Teaching, SR 60,000 for Excellence Award in the outstanding student branch, SR 60.000 for Distinguished Employee Award, SR 60,000 for Excellence in Community Service (individual), and SR 60,000 for Award of excellence in community service (institutions).
