The 30th anniversary of Physics Department at Girls College of Science
Girls College of Sciences celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Physics. The celebration was sponsored by the following dignitaries: The Dean of the Faculty of Science for Girls, Abha Dr. Zhbh Al Raúzh, the Assistant of the Vice - President of the girls' colleges Dr. Kholood Abu melha, the Attorney of Admission and Registration Deanship Dr. Hanan Al-Saidi, and the Vice - President of Graduate Studies, Dr. Ola Alhakan.
The ceremony began with an introductory video about the members of the section, followed by a word from the Head of the Department, Dr. Awatif Abedi. After that, the Supervisor of the 'Physics is a World of Innovation Club' Dr. Halima Saidi gave a word in which she thanked the college Dean for her continued support. She pointed out that the opening of the club came to coincide with the section's 30th anniversary of its formation to embrace the physical creative minds.
On the occasion, the Head of Physics Club (the student, Noha Mohammed Al Rafi) gave a word in which she thanked all those who participated in improving the students' level, by supporting them, and by directing their hands to the path of science, creativity and knowledge. She said, "I will not hide the efforts of the Saudi Society for Physical Sciences as the support of the physicists in the Kingdom, and is taking care of coordinating the researchers' efforts in order to elevate the physical knowledge."
